March 2024 and AGM Update

A quick reminder that the club meeting is on next Thursday night March 7, at the Polish White Eagle Club.

AGM

March is also the Club’s Annual General Meeting, where all committee positions are up for re-election. Full details are available on the forum here.

Education

Kurtz will be talking about (in his words) a recent “3-way experiment”… but one that involved 2.2kg of low-sulphur grape pomace in a sour beer.

Hops

Weenie has generously sourced a range of Yakima Chief hops (56g/2oz packs), these will be given away free to members at the door (limit of 2 per person).

CBR Brewers & Cypher Brewing Co. Competition

Don’t forget to get your entries in for the first competition for the 2024 season, sponsored by Cypher Brewing Co who will brew the Beer of Show entry with the winning brewer.

  • Entries close March 8, with entry drop offs closing on March 9. Nic and Ed are also conveniently collecting entries at the March meeting
  • Don’t forget to sign up to judging or steward on the day, which will be at Cypher Brewing in Gungahlin on March 16.
